本单元的重点内容。对于发出邀请，常用”can you come to my party?”,”let’s go to the movies tonight”,”do you want to go shopping with me next week?”.对于接受邀请，学生都比较容易掌握，如“Sure, I’d love to.””It sounds great.”但对于拒绝邀请，部分学生还未能很好地说出拒绝的理由。如“Sorry, I can’t.I have to prepare for an exam”.“Sorry, I’m not available.I must go to the doctor.”
对于这些句型的运用，先让学生掌握几个固定的，常用的就行了，额外的表达可以让学生自由发挥，遇到之后再自已积累。另外，为了更好地让学生掌握发出邀请，接受邀请，和拒绝邀请
的句法，在课堂上应当举更多的例子让学生去操练，或是设置更多的情境让学生去对话，同时老师现场纠正。再加上课后的练习讲解，这样一来，就可以让学生较好地掌握。总得来说，本单元的语言点并不难。
