父亲节英语作文
Today, on Father's Day, I decided to surprise Dad with a special breakfast. He always wakes up early to make us coffee and toast, so I wanted to return the favor. The smell of freshly brewed coffee and sizzling bacon filled the kitchen as I got busy. Dad came downstairs, looking a bit surprised but soon his face lit up with a big smile. He said, "Wow, this is the best Father's Day gift ever!"
After breakfast, we headed to the park for a father-son walk. The sun was shining, and the birds were singing. We talked about all sorts of things, from sports to school life, and even about Dad's childhood memories. It was such a great opportunity to get to know him better. At one point, he pointed to a tree and said, "I used to climb that tree when I was a kid." It was a simple moment, but I felt so close to him.
In the afternoon, we decided to watch a movie together. Dad picked a classic adventure film, and we settled in the living room with popcorn and soda. The movie was thrilling, and Dad laughed and gasped right along with me. It was like we were kids again, sharing the exci
tement of the big screen.
Before dinner, I gave Dad a handmade card with a heartfelt message.
