About the author
  Oscar Wilde whose father was a doctor was born in 1854 in Dublin Ireland and his mother was a pet. He graduated from Oxford University and he was famous for his wit. In 1881, he published his first book which was poems. He used to say to the customs officer that he had nothing to declare but my genius. In 1884 Wild married Constance Lloyd and they had two children. In 1884, he wrote The Happy Price which was for his sons. During his life, he made a lot of achievements but he died a poor man in 1900 in Paris.
The mermaid and the fisherman
  Once the young fisherman caught a little mermaid whose tail was sliver and pearl. Her body was white, and hair was golden. Her ears and lips which were like sea-shells and sea-coral were special. The fisherman was happy and touched her. The mermaid woke up and wanted
to go home. The mermaid promised the fisherman to sing songs when he called her. Then, the mermaid was set free. Not long before, the fisherman loved the mermaid but he had human soul which the sea-folk hadnt. To marry the mermaid and bee her husband, he looked for the way he could send his soul away. With the help of the witch, His soul was sent away. They are married. They lived in the sea together until the fisherman was tempted to see a beautiful girl dancing by his soul. Unfortunately, when he came back, he found that his mermaid was dead.
The priest and the fisherman
  On the morning, the fisherman went to the priests house to ask the way to send his soul away. Because of human souls being precious, the priest was so angry that he didnt want to see him again. He turned the fisherman away and told him to forget the mermaid. On hearing the priests words that his soul was very expensive, he went to look for the merchant to sell his soul, but the merchants thought his soul had no value. Finally, he left.
The witch
  Later, the fisherman ran to a witchs cave who was good at spells. After the witch knew the fishermans mind, she was so angry, because when the witch saw the fisherman, she fell in love with him, but there was only one mermaid in his heart. The fisherman wanted to give the witch everything which he had to send his soul away. But the witch didnt want these at all. She only wanted to dance with the fisherman at night at the top of the mountain when the moon was full. At midnight, the witch and the fisherman began dancing. They danced faster and faster. The witch tempted the fisherman to keep away the mermaid but she failed. After that she gave the fisherman a knife to send his soul away but it can only do it once. Finally, the witch left the fisherman who sent his soul away using the knife.
The soul
  When the fisherman sent away his soul, who was travelling around the world and every year he always came back to the seashore to tell the fisherman his story. The first travel, he decided to go to the East where everything was wise. He has travelled for six days. Luckily, on the seventh day, he found the merchants sitting on carpets. The merchants gav
e him food and he followed them go forth and back.. On their journey they fight many battles and the survivors started to talk about me. So I let the snack to hit him who didnt fell anything. Then everyone were afraid of him. One day, he wanted to see the god. The priest let him see the god after the soul made him bee a blind man. The second travel, the soul went to the south. When the soul came back to see the fisherman, he told the fisherman what a wonderful life people live, but all of these cant touch the fisherman. The third travel, the soul came back again to tell there was a beautiful girl dancing there. This time, the fisherman agreed to have a look. Unfortunately, on the way, the soul asked the fisherman to do a lot of absurd things, so the fisherman decided to e back to the sea. However, when the fisherman came back, his wife died for ever. Whatever the soul said, the fisherman still acpany his wife who was dead. In the end, he also died.

  There was a fisherman who fell in love with a mermaid. To be with the mermaid, he turned to a witch for help, who can send his soul away. When he was free to be with his mermaid,
his soul travelled the world. Each year, he came back to the fisherman who would listen to him talk about his travels. In the end, the fisherman was tempted to see a beautiful girl dancing, though in vain. When fisherman came back to the sea, his mermaid died forever.
