Impact of New Water-soluble Polyuretliane on Runoff and
Sediment Yield on Purple Soil Slope

Abstract:!the purpose of investigating the effect of treating soil erosion of purple soil slope by new water-soluble polyurethane (W-OH) ,we analyzed the impact of W-OH of5%concentration on the processes
of and erosion of purple soil slope under different rainfall intensities through indoor artificial rainfall experiment. We found that W-OH could remarkably enhance the erosion resistance of soil and reduce sedime suriace.Under test conditions of three different rainfall intensity (42 ,72 ,and112mm^h) W-OH treated group d eclined by 89.40%-97.43% ,and sediment transport rate by86.67%-97.45% despite that runoff increased by0.12-2.03 times compared with the control group.U nder heavy rainfall(72 and112 mn^h) ,the erodibility of W-OH treated soil reduced by96.80%-97.41%. The conclusions offer theoretical basis and application guidance for the protection of purple soil slope.

长江科学院赵瑾琼博士入选中国水利学会“青年人才托举工程”
中国水利学会在北京组织召开中国科协“青年人才托举工程”(2017—2019年度)人选评审会,长江科 学院河流研究所赵瑾琼博士成功人选。评审会由胡四一理事长主持,学会常务副理事长顾浩、水利部总工程 师刘伟平、水利部原总工程师汪洪、水利部原总规划师张志彤、水利部人事司副司长王新跃、水利部
国科司副 司长吴宏伟、学会秘书长于琪洋、学会青年工作委员会主任王建华等评审专家参加了会议。经投票,赵瑾琼 博士最终从21个单位推荐的申请人中脱颖而出,与其他6位青年科研工作者一同人选2017—2019年度中 国科协青年人才托举工程。
“青年人才托举工程”项目是中国科协于2015年开始组织实施的一项青年人才培养计划,也是国家青 年人才培养体系的重要组成部分。该项目每期从200余个全国学会中选出约200名30岁左右的青年科技 人才予以扶持,每人每年支持资金15万元,连续支持3年开展自主研究,目的是引导、助力青年人才成长成 才,并以此为火种,引导和带动青年人才热爱和投身科技事业。
