Teaching Steps Teaching Steps | Step 1 Revision 1.Say: Today we are going to revise adjectives and adverbs. We’ve learned a lot of adjectives and adverbs. Can you give us examples. Ask some students to say some, then write a few on the Bb. Then ask the students to use the words on the Bb to make some sentences. 2. Say: Some adjectives can be changed into adverbs by adding -ly. Now look at , the words, change them into adverbs. Write “careful, wide, polite, lucky, easy, true, terrible , ...”on the Bb. 3. Comparative and Superlative Ask some students to say them 1) Regular “~ +er, ~ +est” “more+~, most +~” 2) Irregular 4. Sentence patterns Help the students to say them out. 1). as… as not as / so …as less than 2) the + … + of /in 3). Superlative ↔ Comparative Say “ He is the tallest in his class. Let the student change it in some other ways. 4) the more, the better Notice longer and longer the taller of the two questions. Then ask one student to say what we revised today.
