Good afternoon!(问候语必须加,视情况而定,晚间可以用Evening)You are now listening Campus Radio(这个Campus Radio可以换成你们校园英语广播站的专有名词).I am XXX(主持人的名字,这个肯定是要介绍的了).Todays we are honored to invite a monitor from Freshmen(注意,大一就直接说freshmen就行,year累赘了)Will to have a discussion with us about what skills(techniques 是技术,不是技能)are important to a good leader.(顺便给你一个建议,可以把题目定为:What makes leader a leader?
Excuse me,can i ask you a question打扰一下我能问你一个问题吗?如果不是在街上随机采访把前面的半句换成hello,thank you for your coming你好,感谢你的到来
Excuse me,I'm a reporter of(.来自哪个单位),can I delay you a little time,do an interview?(同意后陈诉采访内容)。

Host:Good evening, ladies and gentlemen.Welcome to our talk show of this week.Today we will discuss something about failure and how people face it and change it into success. Our guests are Mr.&Mrs.Walters,head to one of the leading advertising businesses in California.Sit down,please,Mr.&Mrs.Walters.Where shall we start? How about from that soda fountain?Mrs.Walters:Yes,that is a sort of token of both happiness and bitterness.Everyone coming to my office will ask the same question about that old-fashioned soda fountain which seems to be a mismatch of the office.I will always tell them t
he same story I will share with you all today. It was a long story back in the recession period after WWII.You know at that time, the jobs were extremely scarce. My husband had purchased a small dry cleaning business with borrowed money,
Mr.Walters:Yes,a small business with a big debt.Let alone other monthly payments. We were really desperate. But Dottie didn’t want our kids to lose their home as she often had as a child. So,she decided to go to the local newspaper to try her luck.
Host:Mrs.Walters, why did you get such an idea of working for a newspaper?Mrs.Walters:Oh,I’ve got some talent for it,I think. At least my high school teacher said so.The idea just struck me suddenly and silly as it sounds,I decided to have a try.Anyway,we need money desperately.
Host:Did it go well?Mrs.Walters:Yes,but only at the beginning.Things changed a bit when some of my advertising prospects began to turn me down.
Host:Why was that?Mrs.Walters:It had something to do with Mr.Ruben Ahlman. He and his
wife are now our close friends, but at that time,I really hated him.He was the president of the Chamber of Commerce and owned a big drugstore.Everybody respected his judgment,so I wanted him to advertise with me but he always refused.I didn’t know why at that time until one day I met his wife when I was refused once again by him and I couldn’t help crying in front of that old soda fountain.Mrs.Alhman told me that without her permission,Mr.Alhman wouldn’t buy anyone’s advertisement.“It’s not his fault. It’s my order.”I couldn’t forget that conversation since it was the turning point in my life and career.Without their kindness and help,I couldn’t have achieved so much today.
Host:Then how come did you get that soda fountain?Mr.Walters:Eh,I bought it from Mr.Alhman when he modernized the old drug store and we decide to put it in our office as a reminder of our past.It always encourages us to go ahead in the face of difficulties or setbacks.
Host:So now our audience as well as TV viewers can understand why you put that fountain in your office. As a routine, each guest to our program will leave to our audience one piece o
f suggestion. So would you please tell them what to do next time when they face failure?Mrs.Walters:Yes,my suggestion is if you can’t communicate with a key person, search for information.Try another path.Look for someone who can communicate with you.
Mr.Walters:And never give up because help is always closer than we know.
Host:(shaking hands with Mr.&Mrs.Walters)Thank you very much,Mr.&Mrs.Walters,for coming to our program today. It was really a great pleasure talking with you.(facing the audience)Ok,that is the end of today’s talk show, and I hope to see you all this time next week. Our topic is Rankings of American Universities. If you are interested in it,please tune in to our program once again next week.
