旅游文章 as the economic developed , more and more people can afford to travel outside their own country . there are many places in the world which is worth to visit. such as usa , bali , uk , france and so on. however ,as gavin mentioned“if you are looking for a trip that is exotic , packed full of new sights and experiences, stimulating and overall different , china is the place to go”.
first of all , let me have a short introduce of china . china , as a well-known country with the most population in the world(around 1.3 billion) has its own story. the history of china has almost five thousand years which is one of the oldest countries in the world. china has 56 ethnic groups , the main ethnic group is called han nationality ,which occupied 92% of all the chinese population.
chinese cuisine has a long history, famous all over the world. chinese cuisine has de
veloped and matured over the centuries, forming a rich cultural content it is characterized by fine selection of ingredients, precise processing, particular care to the amount of fire, and substantial nourishment. local flavors
and snacks, and special dishes have formed according to regions, local products, climate, historical factors, and eating habits. therefore, food has a special meaning to chinese people , the emphasis of chinese food is fresh , seasonal ingredients, prepared with a minimum if fuss, with beautifully balanced color ,texture,and presentation. if you travel to china, you can taste many different kinds of chinese food ,and it is not like the food from chinese take away , it is more authentic .you will be surprised if you try the food in china .
chinese people celebrate a lot of festivals each year.for example, mid-autumn festival, chinese dragon boat festival , qingming festival ,chinas lantern festival and so on. most of these festivals take place on important dates in the chinese lunar calendar. one of the famous and important chinese traditional festival is chinese new
year which is known as spring festival . it is also the most important celebration for families, and a week of official public holiday. there are two main reasons why chinese people celebrate chinese new year , one is to celebrate a year of hard work, have a good rest, and relax with family . another reason is to wish for a lucky and prosperous coming year. on that day people eating reunion dinner with family, giving red envelopes, firecrackers, new clothes, and decorations. more modern celebrations include watching the cctv gala, instant message greetings, and cyber money gifts. if the visitor come to china on chinese new year , then he can enjoy the hospitality from all chinese people and have an experience that he never had before .
just like every country has its own well-known attractions, china also has its own famous iconic symbols of china , an awe-inspiring feat of ancient defensive architecture . which is also the longest wall in the world. the wall spans from chinas western frontier to the east coast, totaling around 5,000 km (3,100 miles). moreover ,if u want to see the beautiful view between mountain and the river ,then go to the li river in guilin. the karst landscape along the li river has captured the heart of artists.
it is one of the most beautiful places in china . imagine you are riding rafting in the landscape, water can be crystal clear, the air is fresh , there are some waves birdsong echoed in the ears. everything is beautiful. you can relax in this environment , and enjoy what you hear and see.
to sum up , china is extremely worth to visit .there are so many things you can do in china . eat the delicious foods, visit the attractions, feel the chinese tradition festivals and cultures,or even make some chinese friends .do not forget that the traditional virtues of the chinese people is hospitable . we welcome people all over the world to come to china . just as a 2008 beijing olympics theme songs lyrics says “ my doors are always open, ready to embrace you with a hug”“wherever youre from youll be our guest so just be at home”

nowadays,the question that whether people benefit more from traveling in their own country,is arousing more public attention for the very reason that it concerns our life
deeply.it is held by some people that traveling to foreign countries is a better choice,for they can experience what they have never experienced before.while there is an equally good argument,which i cant agree more,that traveling in their own country is more meaningful.there are two views which can prove my opinion.
first,people who visit their own country can have a further understanding of their motherland, while traveling abroad can only enjoy the beautiful scenery without understanding the spirit of the country and even reading a foreign book can gain more knowledge about a foreign country.therefore,going abroad seems meaningless to such an extent that sometimes its just a waste of time and money.
