(一)Lead in
1 Learning aims:
掌握以下单词:guitar, sing, swim, dance, chess, play chess, draw, speak, speak English, join, club.

(二)Presentation
出示一些班级学生各种活动的图片、幻灯片或播放课件,引导学生谈论活动:
He/She can dance/swim/sing
Goofy can’t play the guitar 等,学习表达活动的动词短语。
(设计意图:利用图片,呈现本节课所用单词,领读,纠正学生发音。)

A: Can you …? B:Yes, I can./No, I can’t.
A:Can he/she…B:Yes, he/she can ./No, I can’t.
(设计意图:用同学们白己的照片,学生兴趣更强。根据图片做对话,掌握句型。)
(四)Listening 1b
1.Ss look at the picture in 1a. Then read the words and phrases. Let Ss match the activities with the people. Then Check the answers with the class together.

(五). Listening 2a and 2b
1.Work on 2a;
listen to the recording again, and circle the clubs you hear. Check the answers with the class.

(六)Pair work
1.Look at 2b and talk about what the people can do and the clubs they want to join.
T: What club does Lisa want to join?
S1: She wants to join the chess club.
T: What club does Lisa want to join?
S1: He wants to join the English club.
2.Ss work in pairs to practice asking and answer about Lisa, Bob.

(七)Group work

(八)Make a survey
1.Show clubs in Liuquan middle school.
2.Ss work in group to make a survey.
3.Ask some pairs come to the front of the classroom. They try to act out the
conversation. See which group is the best.
(设计意图:展示学生平时参加社团活动的照片,在真实情境中学生兴趣更为浓厚,综合练习本课重点句型)
(九)Exercise
使用平板forclass 软件,学生在完成练习题后可迅速对答案,并对全班掌握情况进行统计。
