《典范英语》(4a-L11)教学参考
The Birthday Candle
教学参考的目的在于为实验课提供一个基本的思路和框架,帮助实验教师更好地把握课题理念。课题组鼓励实验教师结合学生的实际情况适当做出调整,将实验课上出特。
一、教学目标
1. 语言能力目标:学生能够听懂故事;能够惟妙惟肖地模仿录音;能够绘声绘地独立朗读故事;能够理解并复述故事情节;掌握字母组合“ea”的拼读规律;能够结合生活实际创编故事。
2. 非语言能力目标:通过让学生观察故事图片,想象生日聚会的情景,培养学生的观察力和想象力;体会故事主人公Biff和Chip的情绪变化;感受生日聚会的氛围,懂得感恩。
二、课时安排
要求每周不少于两课时,每周至少完成一个故事。鼓励学生课前预习。
三、教师要求
1. 教师课前熟读故事,了解故事内容。
2. 对于较难的单词,教师可板书,并配合动作和表情帮助学生理解。
3. 全英文授课。
四、教学用具
多媒体设备、CD机、课件(课题组提供)、单词卡(bread, seal, sea, stream, head, dream)
五、课堂教学基本步骤
1. 导入(Lead-in):谈论生日聚会,引入故事情境
教师播放有关过生日的视频,让学生联系自身实际谈谈生日聚会,为看图讲故事做好铺垫。
(1)播放一段生日聚会视频(见课件),并与学生互动:
Whose birthday was it, Daddy Pigs or Mummy Pigs?
What did Daddy Pig do? (BQ: Did he blow out all the candles?)
What present did Daddy Pig get?
Did you have a birthday party?
Did you invite your friends?
What presents did you get?
What did you do at the birthday party? (BQ: Did you play games? Did you sing and dance? Did you blow out candles?)
(2)学生回答后,自然过渡到讲故事环节:We are going to learn a story about birthday. Whose birthday was it? What did they do at the party? Lets have a look.
2. 看图讲故事Storytelling):理解故事情节,想象聚会场景,培养观察力和想象力
教师利用课件逐幅播放故事图片,并用丰富的表情、生动的英文和适当的肢体语言给学生绘声绘地讲故事,让学生观察生日聚会上发生的事儿。
Picture 1) Look at picture 1. What did it say? (指向图片中的条幅)
Happy Birthday.
Whose birthday do you think it was? (BQ: Was it Biff and Chips birthday?)
It was Biff and Chips birthday.
They had a party. Many friends came.
What did they bring? (指向图片中的礼物盒)
They brought presents.惊喜单词
Picture 2) What did Biff get?(指向图片中的书包)
She got a bag from Anneena.
What did Chip get? (指向Chip手敲着的邦戈鼓
He got a set of bongo drums. He liked them.
Wow! Fab presents! I like them, he said.(模仿表情)
Picture 3) What did Dad have for all the children?(BQ: Was it a TV programme? Was it a video game?)
It was a video game. All the children wanted to play.
This is a contest, said Dad. Get into teams.
(Picture 4) Biff had a team and Chip had a team.
Both teams wanted to win the contest.
(Picture 5) The contest began. They all had a go.
Look at Wilf. Do you think he liked the contest?
Yes. The contest is fun, said Wilf.
(Picture 6) Look! Which team won, Biffs or Chips? (指向图片中的竞赛结果)
Chips team wins, said Dad.
(Picture 7) Then all the children sat around for dinner.
Look! What did Mum get? (指向图片中的生日蛋糕)
She got the birthday cake.
Was Biff happy to see the cake?
She was a bit unhappy.
Chip and I are seven, said Biff. We need seven candles.
(Picture 8)    Did Mum bring more candles?
No. Just one candle, said Dad. Thats all.
Mum and Dad looked pleased. 
(Picture 9)    But Biff and Chip were upset.
Look at Chip. What might he say?
