第一部分：动笔前要知晓的
●关于审题
看到题目后，首先要做的就是从以下四个维度来审题，这是写好一篇作文的第一步，它会保证你不跑题。
1. 审文章体裁：确定作文是什么类型的文章，是建议信、道歉信，或议论文、说明文，还是其它。审题如果有误，分数可能很不体面。
2. 审人称时态：确定第几人称来叙述，用什么时态来表达。
●关于谋篇
英语书面表达的谋篇布局相对简单。一般情况下，作文为三段式，首段为凝练的主题陈述，中段为主题的细节展开，尾段为简要的全文小结。
●关于其后
审题之后，就要思考用什么样的语句来表达，并打草稿。若时间紧张，草稿为其中的难句、长句；若时间充足，打详细的草稿并修正。在打草稿或修正或誊写的过程中，要注意用学过的高级名词、动词、形容词、副词等来替换你草稿中的简单词汇，用较为复杂的句式来替换简单句式，用对应体裁的常用语句来替换自己编造的中文式英语。

第二部分：信件类应用文
1. 介绍类信件（中国节日）
如你叫李华，你的美国笔友Tom对中国的传统节日非常感兴趣。他想请你介绍你最喜欢的一

It gives me much delight to hear you are interested in traditional Chinese festivals. There are many traditional festivals in China, and my favorite is the Spring Festival, which falls on the first day of the Chinese lunar New Year. The Spring Festival is as important as Christmas in the U.S. and Chinese people have been celebrating it for many years.
To celebrate the Spring Festival, I usually stick the Chinese character “Fu” upside down on the door, which means happiness will come. Besides, I always prepare some red paper cutting to decorate my house because I believe the red color can bring our family good luck. On the eve of the festival, my family usually get together, having dinner and sharing some interesting experiences. Midnight is my favorite time because I can set off fireworks and admire them. Shining little stars coming out of fireworks create a warm atmosphere. Everyone is overjoyed as they say farewell to(辞别) the old year and welcome the new year.
I really like the Spring Festival because it’s time for family reunions and I can do various fantastic activities
during the festival. I hope you can come to China to experience this colorful and meaningful festival.

I’m more than glad to know you will come to China to learn Chinese next month. Now I’d like to introduce you some Chinese culture and customs that you should bear in mind.
When in China, in the first place, you are supposed to shake hands with other people as a gesture of friendship when you meet someone for the first time. But direct body touch should be avoided as much as possible, especially
for the female. In addition, when dining with others, don’t point at others with your chopsticks. This is considered to be rude and impolite. What’s more, arriving on time is essential for an appointment and a gift may be brought so as to express your gratitude. Last but not the least, when going out in the street, you should keep on the right, which is opposite to your country.
