Shanghai is my favorite city. I like it because I was born in there, and a lot of my family members and my friends live there. The shopping in Shanghai is cheaper than here, but it’s expensive in China. I have a lot of things to do there, like: shopping, playing, going to my friend’s home… And there’re also a lot of places that are interesting. In Shanghai, people speak the same language as I do. I was there for 13 years! I left there on August, 18th, 20__. And I was there because I was born in there and I lived there.
There’re a lot of people in Shanghai. The people are like me. We all speak the same language. The people in Shanghai are busy and friendly. And Shanghai is also and internatio
nal city. It’s beautiful and fancy. There’re a lot of tall buildings. That’s why Shanghai is my favorite city. It’s my home city. I love Shanghai!!!
I’d like to go back to Shanghai, but just for a visit. Although Shanghai is good, I’d like to live here because I’d like to study here. I only get a little homework and the air here is flasher than Shanghai. The weather is hot in Shanghai. And the best time of year to go there is spring, because in spring, the weather is cool and warm. But some people asked me:〞 Why don’t we go there in the fall The fall is also cool and warm.〞 I don’t think so, because in Shanghai, the fall is still very hot. I’d like to recommend this place to other because I want more and more people to know and visit my hometown. I hope if I ask my friends:〞 Have you ever been to Shanghai Do you like Shanghai〞 The answers shouldn’t be:〞 No, I haven’t been to Shanghai. And I don’t even know anything about Shanghai!〞 Now, I’ll recommend you to go to visit Shanghai in summer vacation or winter vacation or spring break or every time you’d like, you’d want, because Shanghai is a very nice city. If you go there, you’ll soon like it!

Shanghai is an international city ,which has attracted so many foreigners from all over the world. There are many beautiful places such as the oriental pearl TV tower, Huangpu River and so on. Of these places of interest, the oriental pearl TV tower is so attractive that none has left Shanghai without visiting it . It is so tall that all the visitors have to go upstairs by elevators.
The view from the top of the tower is very grand especially at night . Besides this ,enjoying the beautiful view on a ship by the Huangpu River is very exciting . The beautiful lights from the tall buildings along the river make the river a so beautiful place. During the river tour we can also see the outer part of the oriental pearl TV tower. Also there is much delicous food, such as Nanxiang small steamed bun ,pan-fried steamed bun and so on. Thedelicious food make many visitors mouth water . All in all ,Shanghai is a place worth visiting many times.

An Unforgettable Lesson
In my life I have experienced many important things. But perhaps the most unforgettable thing which is really worth mentioning is the lesson given by my Chinese teacher just after she had an accident.
One morning just before our Chinese lesson, we were told our Chinese teacher, Miss Liu, had had an accident. One of her legs was badly injured and she couldn’t come to teach us. While we were planning to visit her after school, we also thought that maybe we would be free to do whatever we wanted during our Chinese lesson, and hoped our homework load
would be reduced. But to our surprise, shortly after the bell, Miss Liu, with the help of a stick, came to the door of our classroom. With great respect w all stood up and greeted her.
She sat on a chair and began her lesson. She spoke slowly but forcefully. She prepared her lecture quite well and demanded that we do the same. Towards the end of the lesson, we got lots of homework from her.
A good teacher is many things to many people. Everyone has definite ideas about what a good teacher is. In my opinion the teachers who demanded the most from the students are perhaps liked best.

I’ve just learned that Shanghai Museum is to hold a famous painting exhibition and you’re collecting public suggestions about which location to hold it. I’m writing this letter to share with you my opinions. As far as I’m concerned, it is more reasonable to hold the painting exhibition in Shanghai Museum than in community libraries. My reasons are as follows.
On the one hand, it is more convenient for people to reach Shanghai Museum, located in the center of the city. Visitors can go there by subway and bus and so on. What’s more, Shanghai Museum is much more extensive than community libraries, providing visitors with a more comfortable environment to appreciate the famous paintings.
