环节1　新课导入
T：We have learned the passage How to be green，can you retell it for me?
Ss：The passage is about some suggestions to be green.Firstly，the writer lists some questions to check how green you are.Then，the writer advises to repeat the three words daily：reduce，reuse and recycle.The word “reduce” means “use less”； “reuse” means use things as long as possible; “recycl” means “change things into something else to be reused”．In this way，we can finally live a green life and live in a healthy environment.
设计意图：通过复述课文主要内容唤醒学生对课文及其知识点的记忆，为完成课文后面的任务作好铺垫。
环节2　学习活动4－6
1．让学生阅读课文内容，在活动4中勾出文中所提到的绿生活的建议，然后老师核对答案。
2．以活动5中的句子例，根据短文内容仿写句子。完成后老师抽取几名学生在全班分享自己写的句子。
3．让学生将活动6中的句子还原到课文中并猜测词意，然后老师简要介绍其词形变化，让学生用适当形式完成活动6的短文。
4．老师核对答案。然后全班齐读活动6的短文，熟悉所学单词的具体用法。
设计意图：通过短文后的练习让学生深入理解短文细节，并在语言的实践中使所学单词和短语得到巩固。
环节3　学习活动7－8recycle是什么意思
1．分组活动，让生讨论自己在学校能够做到的实现绿生活的行为，然后列表写下来。
2．老师抽取几组学生的绿行为在全班进行展示，并倡大家互相学习，培养绿的生活习惯。
3．让学生写出自己所倡导的绿行为的原因，然后根据自己所写的句子，写一篇短文来阐述如何让自己学校变得更环保和更美好。老师给出写作指导——灵活运用because、so和so that。
4．老师巡视，对需要帮助的学生予以指导。完后，学生相互传阅作文进行点评并相互借鉴学习。
设计意图：通过小组活动，鼓励大家集思广益，合作学习。同时通过短文内容的学习，引导学生培养绿的生活习惯，将课本所学知识转化为实际行动。
