How to Manage Money
When it comes to spending money, the classmates in my class can be divided into three groups .The first group is those who spend their most of their cost of living and spare some aside at the end of the month. The second group is those who just make ends meet. And the rest are the Moonlite group, who have already spent all of their money at the end of the month or even in the middle of the month.Take my experience as an example, I often hear classmates around me complain that they don't have enough money to spend, especially at the end of the month or even in the middle of the month. As a matter of fact, this situation exits in many colleges. As to this phenomenon,it is high time that we college students should learn how to manage money wisely. Here I have three personal tips for your reference.
time is money
First, take note of where your money goes.Because for some students, they don't even know where they have spent their money on and the only thing they know at last is that they have no money in their pocket. For this reason, taking note of your consuming sources
does help a lot. When a new month comes, you can take down everything you have consumed. And check it at the end of the month, you will have a clear idea of your consumption details.Look at it carefully and you will come a conclusion that  you did't need to buy some things , which you may don't need now or ever. Or you may find that you spend too much on entertainment activities, such as singing in KTV,playing bowling, shooting pool, etc. that you don't have any money left at the end of the month.Knowing the reasons, you can decide where to spend less and thus you may have some money left at the end of the month.
Second, put a certain amount of money in your piggy bank every day, which some of us often did when we were young, but as we grow older,we abandon it.For example, you may put 5 Yuan or more or less in it. Actually, the amount of money does not matter. What does matter is that you keep doing it daily. After doing so for a month, you will find your piggy bank heavy without being noticed. Thus you will certainly have some money left at the end of the month.
Third,it is a good idea that you may find a part-time job to earn extra money. For a lot of college students, free time is the most they have.So just make full use of it and make extra money.Ideal part-time jobs include family tutor, food deliverer, supermarket sales promoter and so on.In addition, all these part-time jobs will not only add extra money in your wallet, but also make your college life more colorful. So I personally will be more likely to recommend college students this way to manage money.
The tips mentioned above are all very easy and helpful.By following these tips,I believe that you can manage your money wisely and some of you may not be Moonlite again.
