英语作文：记一次英语演讲比赛
I recently took part in an English speech competition. The topic of my speech was “The importance of learning English”.
I was very nervous before the competition. I was afraid that I would make some mistakes or forget my lines. But I managed to stay calm and focused on my speech.
When it was my turn to speak, I spoke clearly and confidently. I explained the importance of learning English and how it can help us to communicate with people from different countries and cultures. I also talked about how English is used in business and how it can help us to get better jobs.

The audience seemed to be interested in my speech and I could see that they were listening carefully. After I finished my speech, I received a lot of applause.
I was very happy to have won the competition. It was a great experience and I learned a lot from it. It has also given me more confidence to take part in other competitions.
